Our History
A Legacy Built on Trust
Sushruta Hospital traces its roots to 4th October 1987, when Dr. Dinesh Saini and Dr. Sunita Saini founded Manu Clinic — a small but dedicated practice committed to the treatment of anorectal diseases using traditional Ayurvedic techniques. Over the years, the clinic earned a reputation for precision, care, and outcomes that drew patients from across the region.
In 2014, the practice was renamed Sushruta Hospital — in tribute to Sushruta, the father of Indian surgery. In 2022, the hospital expanded to a fully equipped 28-bedded facility in its current location, adding a state-of-the-art modular operation theatre complex, a 2-bedded ICU, a Manyata-certified labour room, and a dedicated laser suite.
In its modern form, Sushruta Hospital serves as a regional centre of excellence for benign proctology, advanced laparoscopic surgery, pelvic floor surgery, cosmetic gynaecology, dermatology and pain management — and is proud to be the first NABH-accredited hospital in Yamunanagar.

Dr. Rijul Saini

Consultant Laparoscopic, General & Colorectal Surgeon
Dr. Rijul Saini is a board-certified general and laparoscopic surgeon with over 9 years of surgical experience. He completed his MBBS from M.S. Ramaiah Medical College, Bengaluru in 2012, DNB in General Surgery from Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, New Delhi in 2017, and MRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK in 2019. He served as Senior Resident in minimal access and general surgery at Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital and in urology and renal transplant at Max Superspeciality Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi. He was a consultant at Oscar Superspeciality Hospital, Sonipat from 2019–2020 before joining Sushruta Hospital. He holds fellowships including FIAGES, FMAS and FACRSI, and is an active member of IMA, ASI, IAGES, AMASI and ACRSI. He currently serves as Executive Member of the Yamunanagar IMA and Treasurer of the Yamunanagar ASI chapter (2022–23). He is a board-certified proctologist with expertise in laser treatment of haemorrhoids, fissures, fistulas, pilonidal sinus, STARR and video-assisted anal fistula treatment. He has published numerous articles and delivered lectures at national conferences.

Dr. Chesta Saini is a board-certified obstetrician and gynaecologist with over 9 years of clinical experience. She completed her MBBS from K.S. Hegde Medical Academy, Mangaluru in 2012, DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, New Delhi in 2017, and MBA in Healthcare Administration from Manipal Academy of Higher Education in 2026. She served as Senior Resident at Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital and as Consultant at Oscar Superspeciality Hospital, Sonipat from 2019–2020. She is a Fellow of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (FMAS), a Diploma holder in Cosmetic Gynaecology from ICCG, and a board-certified sonologist (ISUOG & ICOG). She currently serves as Treasurer of the Yamunanagar Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society. She has expertise in operative and non-operative cosmetic gynaecology, laser vaginal procedures, pelvic floor repair, hysteroscopy, laparoscopic gynaecological surgeries and infertility. She has published articles in national and international journals and delivered expert talks at medical forums.

Dr. Diwanshu Saini is a Consultant Anaesthesiologist and Intensivist with over 5 years of clinical experience. He completed his MBBS from M.S. Ramaiah Medical College, Bengaluru and MD in Anaesthesia from MMU, Solan. He served as Assistant Professor at MMU, Mullana before joining Sushruta Hospital as a full-time consultant. He has expertise in general and regional anaesthesia, pain medicine and intensive care medicine, and has published papers and posters in esteemed journals.

Consultant Dermatologist
Dr. Deepa Saini is a Consultant Dermatologist with over 5 years of clinical experience. She completed her MBBS from SGT Medical College, Gurugram and MD in Dermatology and Venereology from Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences, Indore. She served as Senior Resident at ESI Hospital, Delhi and as Consultant at Raj Skin and Laser Centre, Panipat for 2.5 years before joining Sushruta Hospital in 2025. She is actively involved in academic activities and paper publications. Her expertise spans dermatological and cosmetic procedures including laser hair reduction, chemical peels, dermabrasion, toe nail surgery, ear lobe surgery and wart excision.
